RUNGEON: Roguelite RPG ("RUNGEON", "the Game", "we", "us" or "our") is developed and published by Javier Hernández Torres.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use RUNGEON on Android or iOS.

2. Information We Collect

RUNGEON does not require you to create an account, register with us, provide your name, or provide an email address in order to play the Game.

RUNGEON does not operate its own user database or backend service for storing player accounts, gameplay data, or personal profiles.

RUNGEON uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect and analyze information about app usage and player interactions.

3. Local Game Data

RUNGEON stores certain game and configuration data locally on your device in order to provide the Game's functionality. This may include gameplay progress, settings, purchase status, and other information required for the Game to operate.

This locally stored information is not transmitted to a server operated by us.

Because this information is stored locally, uninstalling the Game, clearing its application data, or otherwise removing local storage may result in the loss of locally stored game data.

4. Google Analytics for Firebase

RUNGEON uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how players use the Game, measure engagement, analyze gameplay and app usage, and improve the Game.

Google Analytics for Firebase automatically collects certain app-usage information and predefined data, and RUNGEON may also send additional events and information about interactions within the Game.

Depending on the platform, configuration, consent choices, and features enabled, Analytics may process information such as app instance identifiers, device information, approximate location, app usage, engagement, and interactions with the Game.

Analytics uses identifiers associated with app installations to associate analytics information with an app instance. Google documents that Analytics can automatically collect basic app-usage data and that additional events and user properties can be configured by the developer.

Analytics data is processed by Google and may be retained according to Google's applicable policies and settings.

5. Google Play Games Services

On Android, RUNGEON may use Google Play Games Services to provide achievements and related gaming functionality.

Google may process information associated with your Google Play Games profile and your use of Google Play Games Services in accordance with Google's own privacy policies and terms.

RUNGEON does not operate or control the Google Play Games Services infrastructure and does not receive or store a separate user account on its own servers.

6. Apple Game Center

On iOS, RUNGEON may use Apple Game Center to provide achievements and related Game Center functionality.

Apple may process information associated with your Game Center account and use of Game Center in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy and terms.

RUNGEON does not operate or control Apple's Game Center infrastructure and does not maintain a separate Game Center user database.

7. Advertising

RUNGEON uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

The Game may display interstitial advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements. Rewarded advertisements may provide an in-game benefit when the player chooses to watch an advertisement.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, advertising-related identifiers, approximate location, device information, and information relating to advertising interactions, depending on the applicable settings, consent choices, platform, and region.

This processing is performed by Google and its advertising partners, not through a server operated by RUNGEON.

8. Advertising Consent in Europe

RUNGEON uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising consent where required.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be asked to provide or manage consent for the processing of information for advertising purposes.

Your choices may affect the type of advertisements shown to you and the information that Google and its advertising partners are permitted to process.

Where applicable, you can withdraw or change your advertising consent through the consent-management options provided by the Game.

9. Remove Ads Purchase

RUNGEON offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase called "Remove Ads".

Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store depending on the platform you use. We do not receive or store your payment card details, bank account information, or other payment credentials.

Payment processing, billing information, refunds, and transaction records are handled by the applicable platform according to its own terms and privacy policy.

RUNGEON uses third-party services necessary to provide certain functionality, including:

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Their processing may take place outside your country, including in countries outside the European Economic Area.

11. Data Retention

We do not maintain a server-side database containing RUNGEON player accounts or gameplay profiles.

Analytics information and other information processed by third-party services is retained and managed according to the respective third party's policies, settings, and applicable retention periods.

Locally stored game data remains on your device until it is deleted by you, removed by uninstalling the Game, or otherwise cleared by the operating system.

12. Children's Privacy

RUNGEON is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed specifically at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through an account or registration system because RUNGEON does not require such a system.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Where applicable under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability.
